Single Parent Camp

June 20-25, 2010

Ruidoso, New Mexico

 

Single Parent Camp is a trip our Junior High Teens go on to teach them how to serve and love others around them. They work with the childrens ministry at the camp by assisting in teaching bible classes, helping with all children's activities, and building relationships with the kids. They will have a great impact on all of the kids that attend single parent camp.

Schedule:

Sunday, June 20- We will depart the church at 9:00am

Friday, June 25- Arrive GCR at approximately 5:00pm

Who can go?
current 7th and 8th graders

Why go?
to love and impact the lives of young kids for Jesus 

Cost:
$140, which covers lodging, meals, transportation for the entire week

Need to do Checklist:

  • Sign up on the list during clas times (limit of 18 spots, so sign up fast and the payment secures your spot)
  • Write a 1 page double spaced paper about why you want to go and think you can serve the ministry at SPFC.
  • Sign medical release and behavioral commitment forms.  Medical Release Forms must be notarized.  (Layne is a notary in the office)

 

*scholarships are not a problem and should not be a reason not to go, so contact Jason @ 512.299.8269 if you would like to apply for a scholarship.
