The members of the Worship Ministry at GCR seek to glorify Jesus Christ, not only during corporate worship services but also in our daily lives. As we do this, we hope to lead others to more complete and passionate lives of worship. Our goal is to honor God through our worship services and to help people draw close to God and connect to Him through intimate worship. We believe that worship is a personal experience between the worshiper and the Father. It should be authentic and above all, from the heart.

The Worship Ministry forms small ensembles called Worship Teams who lead the church through dynamic worship experiences during our assemblies. With a blend of contemporary songs, traditional choruses, readings, and dramatic presentations, we strive to provide an atmosphere in our assemblies where people can encounter God.

More than sixty people are actively involved in the GCR Worship Teams. Teams are organized twice a year through open tryouts, giving everyone an opportunity to become involved in this important ministry.
